This is the moment of embarking.
All auspicious signs are in place.
In the beginning, all things are hopeful. We prepare ourselves to start anew. Though we may be intent on the magnificent journey ahead, all things are contained in this first moment; our optimism, our faith, our resolution, our innocence.

Hello friends!
Somethings always remain the same and true, which is why I always use this inspiring Tao quote to start off my year and this year is no different.
Last year I didn't choose a word, in fact, I didn't write anything except for the above sentiments. I'm not going to lie, 2023 was a challenge for me as I am sure it has been a challenge for so many others.
I am still trying to work through how the Pandemic is still affecting me and my abilities to get back out in the world.
I have been making small strides over the last few months with a few wins. I hope any of you still struggling with what happened to all us are finding some wins now as well. ❤️
This year I am not going to choose a word, but rather focus on some things to help me grow.
Learning and re-learning things that I love to do but may have set aside over the last few challenging years.
I have been paying for a weaving class for a number of years and have hardly scratched the surface of watching and completing classes. Over the last month I started watching the lessons diligently and will be putting some of what I am learning on the loom. Next one up is so pretty!
I also want to commit to getting better at sewing and quilting, which means sitting down at those machines a few days a week to become more consistent. I really enjoy sewing, so this one won't be hard, just making the time for it can be challenging.
I want to read and walk more and go on adventures. I want to become more consistent with my blog posting.
Making these things happen means I really need to learn how to manage my time better, which is not always my strength but I will be looking for Apps to help me with this. Any suggestions out there?
How about you? What are your personal goals for 2024?
