A moving door hinge never corrodes.
Flowing water never grows stagnant.
Well, it has been a little while hasn't it? I have had so many things I have wanted to share with you but at the end of the day I have been so blessed tired. Any one who knows me knows that I am really not much of a morning person, so my writing brain is not very cooperative until I have had a few cups of coffee and then it is time for work. (darn work!) I used to be such a night person, but that productivity period in my day is slowly shrinking...ha!
As you now know, it was ten years ago that I started blogging and many of my closest and dearest friends are those who I came to know as a new blogger all those years ago. When Kirsten announced her Mystery Shawl, one of those friends, Margene of the Zeneedle blog, mentioned that she was going to knit this shaw. One by one, those of us who have been knitbloggers for what feels like a very long time decided to join along. We create a facebook group to chat and support each other as we knit this beautiful shawl....and what fun we have had! Such a gift that has reminded me of those very first days of bogging all those years ago!
Knitting along with my friends made me realize how much I love these blog friends whose friendhip I cherish. We have had a lot of fun knitting through the struggles and the victories of this challenging pattern...so much so that we are going to contnue knitting along with each other on another project.
The little quote above really says it all. Flowing water never grows stagnent and the friendships I have made though blogging for me is flowing water.
I am always thankful for the friendships and the knowlege I have gained on this journey.
