We had enjoyable weekend here at The Woolen Rabbit. For starters, the usual Friday nachos and lemon drops. I know, it doesn't sound like a good combination, but trust me, it really is a nice way to start off the weekend.
The weather on Saturday was not the best for picking out a Christmas tree, but Hannah had to work on Sunday, and we wanted to include her.
A rare picture of Ken, with Hannah's boyfriend Shawn who almost took himself out on the very thick wire holding the trees up...ouch! Careful there boy!
Hannah was sick today, with what we think is strep throat, so after a visit to the doctor, I opted to stay in with her while she rested and completed the Christmas decorating. It's always a lot of work, but feels so nice when it is finished.
What did you do this weekend?
Hope that Hannah is not too uncomfortable and will be up and about soon. Two weeks before Christmas, I spent a lovely, quiet knitting weekend.

Poor Hannah--strep can be pretty miserable. This weekend was busy, and our tree isn't up yet! We helped my sister get the lights on her tree since her back is in bad shape and she can't do it herself. I subbed for the kindergarten/first grade Sunday school teacher--what a wild bunch. My experience is mostly high school so I was definitely out of my element. The bit of Christmas decorating I managed to get out my extensive collection of Santas and the beautiful Nativity ser given to us by a church that my husband designed.

Got the tree but it's not up yet. The mantle looks pretty sweet though! :-) Your tree looks fabulous!

The Holiday season is a happy time of year once the decorating is done. Your tree looks marvelous!

Got a beautiful though prickly tree from a local person in my town over the weekend. We will ignore the shedding needles. :-/ Still sitting on the deck until DH can cut the bottom and bring it in. Today I will trek up to the attic to get some of the other decorations down and put them up. Hope Hannah feels better soon.

We haven't even picked out our tree, but we do have reindeer on our lawn. Love that pretty snowflake ornament :)
