Beautiful day Kim! I hope your dinner was delicious and I hope your birthday is terrific! Happy Birthday!

Mary

Great photos. Love the surf when it is so majestic...as long as I am not riding it, but preferably watching it from a high perch.

BTW - Happy Birthday!

Manise

Great high tide and surf photos! Glad you had a chance to get away for the day and enjoy yourselves. The gulls look amused checking out the swimmer out there in the frigid water.

oh how lovely!!!!!!!!! i love fall and these pics of fall on the beach are just perfect <3
we had a nice fall day on the mediterannean beach on saturday too. it was warm and sunny but not too hot. however no waves whatsoever to my kids dismay - no wave jumping ;P
happy birthday

Carole

That surf looks amazing! I'm so glad you guys got to spend another day at the beach. Where did you go for dinner?

Jo

Very powerful pictures! Experiencing the ocean in varying moods must be so interesting. Glad you had a good day!

Bonney

Kim, where do you like to eat in Portsmouth? We usually end up at the brew pub but I'd like to try something different. Any suggestions?

Jo-Ann

I love all the pictures, you truly captured the beach feeling. My favorite is the surf crashing on the rocks, I could sit and watch those forever. So glad you and Ken got your little beach getaway and the weather cooperated!

margene

Your pictures show the power behind the waves. It's easy to feel the atmosphere of the approaching storm and the buffeting of the wind. The weather was much the same when I was there in April when the tides were high. Good for you to take a day for yourself.
