So, how was your weekend? Did you enjoy the amazing weather that we had here in the Northeast? I do love these brisk mornings and warm sunny days...I hope that they stay around for a while.
I had a busy weekend and believe it or not I once again headed towards the ocean, but this time it was to take some senior pictures of Hannah. It was pretty chilly with the wind coming off the water, so we didn't linger too long, but it was still beautiful all the same.
I've been having some real problems with my back again (grrrrr...), so I took the day yesterday to rest it. I alternated between working on my Bluemoon socks and an online photoshop class, so I can learn how to better process pictures for my website and Hannah's yearbook picture. What have I learned? I learned that I have a LOT to learn...LOL. You will be seeing my progress as I go along here....hopefully it will start to click in my memory, but right now it's a little daunting.
Have a great start to your week!
Love the sock and color of blue...what is the name of the pattern? I looked up star anise on Rav but nothing came up.
Kim...be sure to take care of yourself. Often stress is magnified in injury sites - take it from one who knows. Do things 'gently' or not at all for a few days.

Such a beautiful sock. If you want to email me, I'll tell you what my husband did for his intractable back pain that helped so very much. (I know, everyone has advice, but this REALLY worked.)

Ugh, back problems. Not nice. Hope it is on the mend soon. And congrats for tackling the new photo class...though I often feel like you when I try to refine a skill: I have so much more to learn! Good luck. I am sure Hannah's photos will be great.

What a gorgeous sock! I'm ashamed to say my brother gave me a photoshop package for Christmas and I haven't even opened it! Looking forward to seeing those Hannah pics!

Pretty sock! It's funny now when I look back on my pictures from before I started using Photoshop. I thought they were good but now I can see how much they could be improved. You will learn and be so happy for the way your pictures look. Let me know if you need help.
