What a wonderful post! We don't 'do' proms in Australia. Well...not to the extent that Amercians do. I think I need to go and put a brick on Freya's head to try and stall the growing she's been doing. It feels like she's rushing towards maturity and she's only five!

Can't get over what a great green that is! Beautiful setting. Thanks for sharing.

Judy

Fun photos, Kim! Aren't those new bracelet "thingies" a great improvement for wrist corsages? I'd not seen them until our daughter's recent wedding. Love your DD's dress!

Angie

Clearly your daughter inherited good color sense. She's beautiful and it all looks like a roarin' good time. You did well!

Debbie

Ahhh, these are the days for them, huh? They have no idea how precious this time of their lives really are. Thanks for sharing.

Rebecca

What beautiful photographs! The cameras now are SO MUCH better than what we had. Courtney is wearing my favorite color and it is pretty cool how her date's vest matches. Love it! The place they had their prom looks just like the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Fun days!

Patty

How nice Kim! We're prom-ing on Sunday. The Mount Washington Hotel - it doesn't get any better than that. I slammed Dan's finger into the trunk of the car in the parking lot there when he was 6 - 13 years ago!

Jean

The last picture is the BEST!!! LOL!
Your posts always make me miss NH... Mount Washington Hotel... sniff... sniff...

Laurie

What wonderful memories! Courtney is beautiful, and I swear she is wearing the most lovely prom dress I've ever seen.

Ruinwen

Courtney looks like a Princess. It looks like everyone had such a good time. What a beautiful memory to cherish. *hugs* :)

Carole

Oh, Kim, she looked so beautiful. And now you've gone and made my cry. This is going to be a rough few weeks, I tell ya.

Manise

Great post and photos. Our prom photo op is tomorrow afternoon. Tux- check, shoes, check, corsage- check.... I can't believe it he's almost done!

Stacey

Wow makes me teary eyed...I remember feeding her baby food ;p I am so proud of her and she is growing into herself everyday...give her a few years and you'll reap the rewards...great job Mom, you really are the best, and she looked stunning...I am so proud of her ;p

Laurie

The last is best. And I do love the vest/color assembly!

Paula

These kinds of photos usually make me a little teary and these are no exception. They tell a story of youth and promise for the future. Lovely.

terri

Awwww... they're adorable! Wonderful post!

Judy

That was so much fun! Thanks for sharing it.

Mary

Beautiful pictures! Beautiful memories!

Diane

Great Photos! esp the porch shot. I have daughter's photo op for Junior and Senior Proms coming this month. Last thing to get... shoes.

margene

Courtney is so beautiful and the dress compliments her perfectly. Love the way her dates vest is the same color! The whole event will be memorable for you all!
