Meet the newest member of our household!
This not so little cutie made her way into the world Sunday evening via c-section. Weighing in at a whopping 11 ounces....yikes!
This is the first litter that I have had in over 4 years, so we are looking forward to watching her grow.
Welcome to the World my little one!

What cuteness all in one little puppy package! Must be twice as big by now.

Oh I can't tell you how happy I am that I popped by your blog while the kids were still in bed! My little Freya would be in love and on a plane in seconds! So lovely.

The puppy is adorable. I hope mama is recoviering nicely. What kind of puppy is she? My daughter has an English Bulldog and c-sections are the usual for that breed...

Kim, what a cutie! Congratulations! First in four years? wow. Sam was 11 in October and he is still as sweet as ever.....in fact THE sweetest dog ever and of course I'm not biased. We love him so much. I hope this baby brings you as much happiness as we've had with Sam!

I am so excited to finally be able to post on your blog; we got a new computer which ended 2 years almost of reading an not being able to comment. Hurrah! I have enjoyed reading your blog and now can "say" something.

Oh my GOSH, how cute! I love me some puppies. What's her name and was there just one?? I remember when I saw a picture of my boxer baby at just a day or two old, I though she looked more like a rat... they change so quickly. Have fun!

*Snickering at the gerbil comment* She's adorable. Perfect little lap-warmer while you knit. Hope Mama is doing well after surgery.

OMG! Kim, she is amazing. But she looks kinda big to me, I guess she is, hence the section. Glad all is well and hope she become a prize winning show girl. Blessings : )

Posted by: Lorraine | Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:24 AM
Oh, she's so sweet! What is the typical weight for a newborn puppy?
Posted by: Beth | Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:19 AM
Congrats, Grandma! Can't wait to see her in about a week! (That's the one thing I miss about my old across-the-street neighbors: they used to dog-sit for their son's KCC spaniel. Boy, I miss Charlie...)

She is so tiny now but will grow up too fast. Give her lots of love. Congratulations!

Holy smokes that's a big little girl! She'll be bouncing around and cracking you up in no time!
Posted by: Jean | Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 09:42 AM
She's a beauty! Being a single, does this also mean she will grow larger than usual, or will it even out? I'm glad it all turned out well.
Posted by: Norma | Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 09:33 AM
Adorable! I'm available if you need a puppy snuggler, my rates are reasonable. :) Which one of your pups had her? and is it normal to only have 1?

She's such a tiny thing. A c-section is not a common, is it? I hope the mama is okay.

Oh my! So sweet. But I do have to agree with Carole. At first glance I did a double take.
Posted by: Geri | Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 07:08 AM
She's so cute! Are you sure she is a puppy and not a gerbil?
