Pattern: Posh Wedding Shrug
Needles: US 6 and 7
Yarn: Woolen Rabbit Merino/Bamboo DK weight yarn
(Blue Moon colorway)
This was a VERY easy pattern to knit. The lace was incredibly easy to memorize and it moves right along.
It has you knit the first side, then the second side with a graft in the middle. It's so easy to Kitchener stitch when you are working with a heavier weight yarn. ;)
The only changes that I made were to knit the pattern on straight needles instead of starting the sleeve on circulars. My knit in the round gauge is usually different than my back and forth gauge.
I was told ahead of time that this pattern runs very big, so even though I had the correct gauge, I went down 2 full needle sizes and you can see that was the right decision as Hannah is pretty small.
Hannah had a blast on her trip to DC and wants to thank everyone who helped her by purchasing candy at spa. It gave her a little extra spending money. ;)
I want to thank each and every one of you who left such kind comments about Miss Shelley. It has been a hard few days for all of us including the dogs, but knowing Shelley led a good and carefree life helps ease the sadness.
Enjoy this beeutiful day! ~

Hannah and the shrug are both beautiful! I just showed it to my daughter and now she would like one. :)
