That is so touching! Talk about restoring faith in people!

Laurie

That is unbelievably wonderful! Karolyn is a saint, Anne and Lorraine are her co-conspirators.

Robin

Beautiful!!!

Debbie

This is the best story I've heard in a long time. How sweet is that? Bless you, Karolyn and Lorraine! Wow! Humankind isn't falling apart, after all.

tiennie

OMGosh! What a wonderful thing to have happened. What a sweet community. You look wonderful and you deserve this. :)

Jodi

Knitters are the nicest people, indeed! What a wonderful thing.

Beth

What a wonderful surprise for you!

Erica

What a wonderful ending to an unhappy story. The new shawl is beautiful, and what wonderful friends you have!

Cheryl S.

How wonderful!
That's definitely good karma.

Sue

Wow. That is so nice. And it is beautiful.

There is more than one ogre out there. My LYSO tells me she routinely has store samples disappear - people just help themselves.

Lucia

What a great gift! And that color looks spectacular on you.

Kathy graciously allowed me to join Spring into Summer a bit late. I measured myself this morning, and found that I am large.

June

What a heartwarming story and picture. Good karma all around (except to the ogre, of course).

Vicki

That is awesome, Kim. So sweet.

Ruinwen

People always are amazing me by their kindness. It was so sweet of them to do that for you. *hugs* :)

Sharon

Brava, ladies!! Well done!!

(Kim, you look positively radiant!)

Annette

How fantastic!!

gayle

Such a wonderful gesture! It doesn't make up for the theft of the original, but goes far to restore balance to the universe!

sherri

Wool Winder

That's just about the nicest thing I've heard of in a long time!

WOW! What a world.

Gina

How wonderful. I am so glad that there was a happy ending!!

Sue Johnson

How wonderful! You are so right that fiber folks are the best people in the world. So glad for you.

Pat

Such a kind and thoughtful gift! A gorgeous wrap - 2nd time around too!

TeresaC

You deserve it more than anybody I know, and everything Helen says is so true. Everyone noticed. I'm so happy that someone did this for you.

margene

So wonderful! You have a life long treasure. No one deserves it more.

Julie

What a wonderful act of kindness that was! The shawl is beautiful and you look lovely.

Judy

A gift even more precious than itself. Their thoughtfulness has brought a light to the fiber community.

I also can hardly believe that it took her only three days to knit that beautiful shawl. Karolyn has many gifts.

Manise

That's wonderful act of kindness! Giving me the warm and fuzzies all over. Yes, beautiful pic of you!

pat j

Anne

Now THAT is a story with a happy ending. It is beautiful, and you look beautiful wearing it!

Carole

That's wonderful, Kim!

Dianna

I was stunned when I heard someone had stolen your Oh Canada. This act of kindness restores my faith in knitters as a community. I am glad you have the shawl back, improved with the awesome karma knitted into every stitch!

And I agree that you are beautiful.

livnletlrn

That shawl is wonderful, but the story behind it is even more so. Can't help but be beautiful when you're wrapped in love!

Chris

Impressive, in so many ways!

JessaLu

Amazing, wonderful and kind. :o)

p.s. you are beautiful. Don't make me come up there...

Nancy

Kudos to all involved!

Helen Brewster

Oh Kim, I am SO VERY happy that this has happened and that you are always so right about karma. In the hours when you were ROBBED, your composure and calm and faith were every bit as evident as your injury. People who love you learn a great deal from you with every encounter. BRAVO to the friends who replaced bad karma with good an d a wonderful shawl with a magnificent shawl.
Love you.
Helen

Lorraine

Kim- A picture is worth a thousand words, and the great thing is I got to meet Karolyn, and Anne Hanson was of course, her usual wonderful self.

It was an absolute pleasure.
