If socks that fit the sock blockers are too small for you, you need bigger sock blockers.
What the others said: try them on. It's the only way to find out for sure. They're too pretty to rip out without checking first.

anne

so sorry your knitting is hitting fits and starts! but your lace piece looks so pretty; i've been admiring its progress!

Debbie

I'm telling you, it has to do with the moon, the tides, the cold! I go through the same periods with my knitting, when nothing works, even the simplest thing. Everything will turn for you soon! I love the Etheral Fitchu! I knew those socks would come back to get you!

Beth

I think your "scary blob" is actually a beautiful blob! Good luck with the focus.

Pat

Try it on - if you can fairly easily get it over your heel and onto your leg (which I'm betting you can looking at it on the blocker), it will be fine because the foot is actually wider with the stockinette sole.

Ruinwen

My post was on focus today too. Hmmmm. I can't wait to see your blob transform into Etheral Fitchu. The colorway is so beautiful! :)

Laurie

For the socks, put them on waste yarn, and see if they fit. Then you will know what to do.

gayle

I think if I could focus on one thing, I could conquer the world! (There is absolutely no danger of that ever happening...)
I'm a sad soul who bought six more sets of little DPNs because all my needles were full.
And I need to get back to work sewing sock knitting bags. And those quilts-in-progress.

I'd rip the socks and start over. They've given you such fits by now that you'll never really like them.

Lorraine

Kim- I have to practice project monogamy- which for me means a pair of mitts and a shawl, as well as needlepoint, some quilting and sweater designs.

Do you see where this is leading?

Claire

I just love the colors in those socks - I hope they turn out well despite their rocky start! I like your new header, at least I think it's new!

Wool Winder

You've had so much trouble with those socks, if it were me, I think I'd rip them out and go on to something else.

margene

We of many talents have such a hard time fitting it all into a day. Maybe it's time to work exclusively on the one thing that isn't giving you trouble. An accomplishment is a good thing.

Carole

I suggest a pair of mittens. That will brings things right back into focus.

Geri

Could all the bad news in the world be creating this lack of focus? I have 8 projects on my needles right now! Virtually unheard of for me! Maybe after next Tuesday we'll feel like being focused.

alison

Sometimes things just need to rest. If they're meant to be they will be finished

tiennie

All I want to work on right now is easy mindless knitting. What is it with that? Your projects are looking lovely!

Leah

Startitis! It's an epidemic!

But your blobby fitchu is lovely. The color is scrumptious!

Renee

Your Etheral Fitchu looks stunning, I can't wait to see it finished. I hear my sewing calling me away from my knitting too...
