*sniff* Kim. I can't believe Nanci Griffith is an "old favorite" of yours. She's my all time favorite. All time.

I've seen her a few different times down in Texas, many years back. The first time was in a small venue on the University of Texas campus - it was standing room only and oh I just cry when she starts to sing. She was going to be the top act at the Kerrville (TX) Folk Festival in 1989. We went. We camped. We loved everyone. And then Nanci had to cancel that night because she lost her voice. I was depressed for weeks. lol

Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the beautiful Morning Glory photo - and thanks again for the Pink Ribbon Sock compliments. :)

Can't wait to see your sweater take shape. :)

It's the time of year to be thinking of sweaters. You could probably start wearing that one right away in your part of the country.

Amy

I'm a big Cowboy Junkies fan. I'd love to see them in concert sometime.

Kathleen

Love Nanci Griffith. Saw her two summers ago on Long Island. Played her in the delivery room for my youngest too.

Diane

I like your choice! What a perfect summer project.

margene

That is one of my TOP favorite Junkie songs. Just yesterday I played it THREE times!! I'm envious you saw them. They are fabulous in person and the new album is a real treat. That sweater will be great for you.

Danielle

I was just looking at Hey Teach yesterday. I kind of want it with long sleeves, though (for fall/winter), and I'm not sure how I would do that.
