A Quiet Weekend at Home...

Not much going on here this weekend...and after the last 2 weekends of test driving cars, Ken says...this is a good thing :-).
I spent quite a bit of time yesterday working on Alhambra and she is growing. I love the way the pattern swirls in and out around the lacework.
After seeing Anne's blocked pictures the other day, I am really looking forward to getting this little scarf finished and blocked so that I can wear it before it gets too warm. It really is the perfect in between seasons scarf.
(I hope to have more of this colorway dyed up later in the week.)
Other than a bit of knitting and a little bit of playing with the car, the only thing I have done is bathe the dogs and watch the Red Sox.
I thought you might enjoy seeing a picture of Skyy now that she is almost grown. She is turning into a lovely lady, who unlike her older sister, Cleo does not chew on her own ears... :-)
I hope you had an enjoyable weekend too!

Skyy looks like the sweetest dog one could have.
The new colorway (and scarf) is looking great !

Skyy is quite cute. I also like the Anne Hanson designs. I've found that the ones that call for lace weight yarns usually do well in fingering weight. I just bought several more patterns including the scarf you are working on.

Those quiet weekends at home are quite rejuvenating in between adventurous ones. Skyy is lovely, so is the knit.

Beautiful and cute. I was going to say that Skyy's ears are way long and then remembered that Cleo chews hers and that length is not the standard per se.

Lace and Cavs... two of my favorite things. Especially *that* Cav. Beautiful on both.
Must have been the time for it because I just bathed Aggie and Lucky yesterday and we did their nails today. Lovin' the dremel for that little task.

Skyy actually looks peaceful. Is that a temporary aberration? I do like the Alhambra design!

Skyy is beautiful and has such expressive eyes! I have a friend who is very good with dogs that interested in King Charles Spaniels here in Tennessee. Can you recommend a reputable breeder for her?
I rescue and am very particualr about homes for my dogs and would place a dog with this lady and she would make a good home.
You will have to let us know what you think about your new ride after you go to a dog show.
