I've Been Smocked!

Smocked_mitts

Yes.......sometimes she actually finishes things :-)
Pattern: Smocked Mitts
Yarn:  Woolen Rabbit Opulence (merino/silk)
Needles: US size 2

Smocked_mitt Why is it that purple and red are so hard to photograph?  We have had numerous grey, snowy days up here, which has made taking pictures challenging.

The color of the yarn is more accurate in the second photo, but I did want to have a photo with 2 finished mitts, just to prove that I do finish mates now and then...<grin>

You can find this free pattern on Yarnophiliac's blog.  It is a fast, fun knit!

I Heart thsoe mitts! The handspun came out gorgeous! Those smoked mitts are very pretty too! Hurray you get a pair for yourself as well!

That's some fine looking yarn there! I have so much fun getting new patterns. Thanks for the tip. Very pretty!

Beautiful mitts!

VERY nice. I love the color (you know - me 'n purple!)

I've been trying to decide on the right pattern for a pair and this might be it. Thanks!

So pretty. The color is lovely!

Well, those mitts certainly are smashing! I love the color of the yarn. Merino and silk sound opulent, indeed. I bet your hands are happy!

very cute and the yarn looks SO yummy!

Lovely! Just in time for times when you need warm mitts.

Very pretty! I'm in love with fingerless mitts, but only have one pair for myself. I need to get busy.

They look good and there is just enough time to get them done!! Love the yarn, great color and I can't wait to get my hands on some of that. Stay warm and toasty this weekend, storms are a coming!!

They look great!

delightful mitts.
and I love the color :-) - it's my favorite.

I love them. That reminds me that I have that pair I made last spring and never blogged. Now I want to make yours.

OOOOOOOOHHHH!

Gimme,gimme...

Loverly lustre to that yarn Kim. You wouldn't be wanting any designs for it would you? Like maybe some rabbit socks? Or mitts? Or anything scrumptious enough to live up to that yarn?

Can't wait...

Blessings!

Lovely pattern and yarn! Thanks for the link.

Very nice! Thanks for the link to the pattern.

They look great. Yikes, we've got lots and lots of snow. How about you?
