I've Been Smocked!
Yes.......sometimes she actually finishes things :-)
Pattern: Smocked Mitts
Yarn: Woolen Rabbit Opulence (merino/silk)
Needles: US size 2
Why is it that purple and red are so hard to photograph? We have had numerous grey, snowy days up here, which has made taking pictures challenging.
The color of the yarn is more accurate in the second photo, but I did want to have a photo with 2 finished mitts, just to prove that I do finish mates now and then...<grin>
You can find this free pattern on Yarnophiliac's blog. It is a fast, fun knit!

I Heart thsoe mitts! The handspun came out gorgeous! Those smoked mitts are very pretty too! Hurray you get a pair for yourself as well!

OOOOOOOOHHHH!
Gimme,gimme...
Loverly lustre to that yarn Kim. You wouldn't be wanting any designs for it would you? Like maybe some rabbit socks? Or mitts? Or anything scrumptious enough to live up to that yarn?
Can't wait...
Blessings!
