Friday's Flower......Astillbee

Pink_astillbe_2

Contemplate in the morning.
Pull weeds in the afternoon.
The joys and labor of a single day
Are part of a whole journey.

Have a great weekend!

I loved The Secret Life of Bees!! And I loved your post. I agree, we're all quite the sisterhood of fiber lovers, aren't we? :)

I'm like Anne - I love astilbe, yet I don't have any in my yard. Yours is beautiful!

i love astilbe and i have yet to get some for our yard . . what is WRONG with me?

that is really beautiful - both the flowers and the quote.

Gorgeous photo! So much so that I saved it to my desktop as wallpaper. I had astilbe at the MO farm but it's too dry here for it.

I have many different astilbe varieties- they like lots of water. The moles got most of mine during the winter, but left a little piece in each spot so that most have grown back. The pink ones are my favorites.

Yes....they are wonderful with their wispy flowers....so delicate! Yes....the yin and yang of gardening and life.

How nice! I've never had any luck with astilbes.

I used to have astilbe and I don't anymore. Yours is beautiful.
