Baptisia is one of my favorites too; I love both the flowers and the foliage. It grows wild on the banks of the Little Cahaba River - I was so surprised to find it! (and that I knew what it was!)

Ruinwen

Your shawl is yummy and I'm glad you can get more yarn if you need it!

Loved the video! :)

Cary

Hi Kim! I love the flowers, the fiber and the adorable little Muffin ;) I combined fiber and flowers in my Friday post, too...
No puppies in my post, though ;(

Good luck on the the yarn search! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Cary at Serenity Farms

Judy

You are in luck, let me know. I love that pattern. Now I want to make another one. There is enough to so it. Too many beautiful projects.

Laurie

Hoping there's another skein for you! Her yarn is FABULOUS.

Beth

That was a great video - what a voice! And your flowers are beautiful. (Your blog post was a treat for the eyes and the ears!) Good luck with the yarn. :)

Beth

That's just cutting it too close! Hope she can set you up with enough to finish.

anne

oh wow. how did you know i ADORE opera?? really cool video!
i love your shawl too and the yarn looks luscious—so what's the verdict?? did you make it?

Mary Ellen Dadds

The video was fantastic!!!!
I thought it was an angel singing.
What about the judges?

Wool Winder

Looks like you might run out of yarn, but I hope not. I love all blue flowers. I'm not familiar with babtisia. I wonder if it grows here. Very pretty!

Carole

I've got my fingers crossed that Judy has that yarn for you.

Kirsten Grace

The shawl is lovely! I knit one for my mother last year and was disturbed to find that the point produced from the written instructions/chart does not seem to match the shawl on the cover. The cover shawl uses half repeats when it hits the center increases. Have you noticed the same thing, or am I just crazy?
