Are you going to be at the New Hampshire Sheep & Wool Festivial in Contoocook? I am traveling out to help my daughter get moved out of her dorm, and would love to meet you...

Beautiful Daffodils! I saw dandelions on the lawn at work for the first time yesterday. That's a sure sign that it's here for good!

I think you made the right choice to go with the yarn as it is. Matching stripes are for commercial spun yarn; homespun has too much personality to be that perfect.

Ruinwen

Your socks are beautiful regardless of the striping! And your pink handspun is to dye for...pun intended. :)

Have a nice weekend! :)

Yippeee - daffodillies grace the yard!
Oopppsss.. sorry.. you thought that exact matching of the yarn was possible??? eerrr, ummm, hmmm... I don't know that anyone has achieved that yet with this hand dyed roving... but they will surely be kissin' cousins.. do you totally hate me?

anne

well, your socks will be married, not twins—kinda like you and your husband; different but in love . . .

Maureen

Look at your gorgeous daffodils!!! Don't fret too much about the socks . They will be an interesting pair :)

Carole

My daffodils have gone by! Yours are beautiful and so is your yarn.

Laura

You would really have to pay close attention to your spinning to have matching stripes - you enjoyed spinning that yarn way too much to worry about the striping - you'll LOVE the socks! Cassie's pattern is beautiful and I think I might have found the perfect pattern for my Sockapalooza pal! Oh gosh, I didn't want to get so giddy about it already!! hehe

Marisol

The BYT socks still look awesome! Hey they can by fraternal twins:)

I can't wait to see what you do with the It Takes Two roving. The spinning, the picking of just the right pattern....

margene

I'm amazed you thought they would match! Look at that..flowers in NH...I knew they'd come;-)
