A little while back, I mentioned how I had "hoe'd" the barn and cleaned out some of the clutter.
Well, this week I have started in on the house. For the last 3 days, my house has been in shambles as I have been flushing out every corner and every basket that is in view....or hidden :-)....every book, pattern and magazine.
We have had to eat dinner these last few nights in the kitchen, as my dining room table is hosting this mess while I decide what goes where. What gets packed away in my nice neat barn and what gets tossed. As my husband was passing by the table, he picked up this basket of sock yarn and asked the questions..... "Do you think you have a tendency to accumulate things?"
You know, I think he just may be on to something....LOL

You are inspiring me to get started on cleaning up my clutter.

I tell Dan it's an investment in our retirement. I'll need all that yarn for grandkids some day and we'll be on a fixed income then so I'm saving up. lol. The problem is that I'm getting the same sickness for fabric.

A few weeks ago, as I spyed a pile of new Rubbermaids and asked my husband for one, he asked "do you think you have enough yarn." He said "yes," even though the answer is that you can never truly have enough :-)

*sigh* It IS a disease, but the course is benign.

I see it as a pantry of inspiration. :)

LOL - you need to tell him that sock yarn does not count as stash enhancement. I think you'd have a great case for still life - it looks beautiful in that basket! ;-)

What a pretty basket of sock yarn! Sock yarn isn't "things", so there's nothing wrong with accumulating it.

What a pretty basket of sock yarn! Accumulating isn't necessarily a bad thing.
