Yum......
It's hard to believe that 24 years have past since I had my son. When he was a little guy, I used to call him Honey Boy and for a short spell there, I swear he thought that was his name, as he would refer to himself as such to others as well.....LOL. Homemade Boston Creme Pie has always been his favorite birthday cake.
Miles has had a rough couple of years, but has come out on the other side maintaining his never ending sense of humor and a new maturity. I am very proud of the kind hearted young man he has become!

What to do with this lovely malabrigo yarn?? I have 10 skeins of this yummy, soft yarn, which should be enough to make a sweater. This yarn is similar in weight and gauge to Manos yarn, but a wee bit softer. I have a few ideas kicking around, but I would love to hear your ideas on what patterns would work best with this yarn.
Thanks and have a great Monday!!

Oops! Forgot! Happy Birthday Honey Boy! ;-)))

I have some Malabrigo (also 10 skeins) that I've been musing about too. The Friday 1/20/06 entry of Chicknits' blog http://www.chicknits.com/rambles/ mentioned she is working on a sample of a Manos cardigan. She didn't really say but I'm assuming this is Bonnie Marie's own design -- so I plan to hold out for the cardigan I 'think' Bonnie Marie of Chicknits is working on. Whatever I do I need to be sure of fit and size because the Malabrigo doesn't look like it will hold up to ripping out and re-knitting.

Ooooh, love that photo - he's cute enough to wish he and my DD would meet and fall in love!! Of course, that's my take on it - bet they'd have other ideas, huh?? :)
As for malabrigo, cowl neck sweater comes to my mind. But I know whatever you decide, it will be lovely.
