Here they are! Born in the middle of the night of course, Jan. 25th. She gave us 3 boys and one little girl. It's been a long time since I have had tri-color puppies here. I forgot just how much they look like little baby cows.! All 4 babies are doing well and after the shock of trying to figure out what the heck these squeaky, moving objects are, Bliss is being a very good Mum.
This young man, fascinated by all of the noises coming out of the puppy pen, has decided that it must be his mission in life to figure out just what is going on in there. He is ever vigilant by the pen.......thank-fully Bliss is a good natured girl and is tolerating nosy young men well. Time will tell if Breeze will be so tolerant next week with her babies......
Lest you think that I have forgotten how to knit, I figured I would through in a little fiber content. Can you guess what it is?
It is Shedir from one of the Knitty Suprises and I love working on it......a very fun knit if you like cables. I am using some handspun polwarth. This was to be knit over winter break for my college aged daughter. Of course she left for college yesterday, hatless. There are just not enough hours in a day sometimes....
I promise Ash.....it will go out in the mail by Monday, with a little surprise ;-))

omg, they are so cute :-)

OH! I'd give anything to be there right now! Can't wait to watch them grow. Aggie is already almost done (lost her first teeth yesterday - two at a time - what's up with that?! lol). Trying to talk Dan into getting another... SO cute!! Give Bliss an extra pat for me! Good girl!

Yeah for the smell of puppies! And good luck with Shedir. Eunny just finished on in felted tweed, reminding me how much I admire that pattern, especially in handspun. You rock!
Did you see that Cassie just whipped off an old shale shawl in your lovely bunny crack?

P.S. I LOVE the poem by spinner gal! I think I am going to have to cross stitch that for my friend who raises party Spaniels.

Those are the sweetest puppies I seen in a long time.(except of course my fur kid Elise, have to remain partial to our own, LOL)
I really like the wool you are using for your shedir. It looks very soft.

Well, after squealing in glee over the pups, I finally scrolled down and .... the hat is gorgeous. Handspun makes it incomparable.

Those puppies want me to come and snuggle them. They do. I can tell.

Your new babies are sooooo sweet! We had a part Cavalier when our children were small. Lovely dog! Couldn't resist sharing this little poem with you .....
There was an old Spaniel
who lived in a shoe,
With so many puppies,
The shoe was a zoo.
Since none were yet housebroke,
It was a disgrace,
With wee wee and doo doo
All over the place.
- Herbert I. Kavet
Enjoy your babies! :-)

Kim - I've been waiting for pictures! They are oh so precious! Can you send me some of that puppy aroma - you know what I mean. Nothing smells better than a baby puppy.(well, not nothing, but it is a good smell). Are you holding any of them yet?
