i am so envious ... you are doing so much better with river than i am. it is going to look spectacular on NYE.

Becca

amazing begining on the NYEVE shawl ... and the woven piece above is beautiful. you have an exceptional way with color ... a true textile artist!

Laura

Your River shawl looks and sounds so perfect in the KSH. Perfectly feminine. Perfectly romantic. Perfectly wispy in the pattern photo. I can't wait to see it finished. What an inspiring post for anyone considering making the leap into lace!

Stilletto's. Ouch, my toes hurt just thinking of them. Imagine that I wore them when I was young and stupid.

I love the story of the moon festival. And it really feels as if the frost is not far away! (she says as she can barely feel her fingers anymore they are THAT cold!)
:)

Very pretty! We have a beautiful weekend ahead and snow predicted for next week. Fall was short!

Maureen

The shawl is lovely. I can't wait to see your progress as you knit along.I was at Patternworks last weekend. My husband and I went fishing on Lake Winnipesaukee for two days. That area is just gorgeous. We are hoping to take the boat around the lake during foliage.

Jackie

Your River is looking great...why can't mine look as good!!! I love the Moonlight, perfect for New Year's Eve!

Judy

It's really lovely. I wish Rowan offered a better picture of the shawl. I grabbed an extra blanket last night. I wish that chimney sweep would get here.

Cheryl

I usually pass right over the metallic yarns too but something about that new KSH just keeps pulling me back... I just might succumb.

Cassie

Even just the beginning is really stunning. Gorgeous. Makes me want to do some shawl knitting!
